In 2023, Tucker introduced the Carbon NetZero program, offering a tailored solution to reduce Scope 3 emissions through reforestation efforts in collaboration with trusted Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). This initiative helps shippers meet their ESG goals with affordable options. Tucker’s team calculates the estimated CO2 and greenhouse gas emissions for each shipment, allowing customers to offset these emissions in 25% increments according to their budget and sustainability targets. For example, reforesting one hectare of the Amazon Forest can offset 400 metric tons of CO2 emissions generated by freight transportation.
