As third-generation CEO of Tucker Company Worldwide, Jeff oversees sales, marketing, and the company’s industry presence. He is the former chairman of the board of directors for the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA). He also chairs the committee for, and has co-authored each edition of, TIA’s “Carrier Selection Framework” which provides guidance on selection of safe motor carriers. Jeff has testified before Congress on truck safety matters and was named by a USDOT Administrator to a special committee to advise USDOT on highway safety. He is on the board of directors for the National Industrial Transportation League and chairs its Highway Transportation Committee. Jeff was recently appointed chairman of the Transportation & Logistics Steering Committee for BSMA. Jeff's commentaries have appeared on CNBC and in The Wall Street Journal, Journal of Commerce, Logistics Management, Transport Topics, Defense Transportation Journal and many others.
JAMES D. TUCKER – PRESIDENT
As President of Tucker Company Worldwide, Jim oversees credit, collections, accounting, and carrier relations. Jim graduated with a B.A. in Economics from University of Delaware in 1993, became CTB certified in 1994, and completed his M.B.A. in Finance from Temple University in 2002. Jim has worked in all facets of the business: for two years, he worked in Tucker’s operations, coordinating flatbed and heavy haul shipments. From 1995 to 2000, he was a national account sales representative, where he focused on onboarding accounts and growing the profitability of the company. He was named Executive Vice President in 2001, and went on to become President in 2004.
MIKE MELLENCAMP – CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
As COO, Mike leads Tucker’s strategic alignment of operations with market forces and trends to preserve the company’s position as a leader in the transportation brokerage industry. He oversees and synchronizes Tucker’s capacity and technology teams to deliver operational excellence for every customer, as well as implements and adopts new technologies to drive improvements in customer satisfaction and process efficiency. Mike joined Tucker in 2006 and rose through the ranks in operations, sales, and management. Most recently, he grew and managed the company’s heavy haul and super loads projects and led the charge for Tucker’s industry-leading truckload visibility initiative. Mike holds a B.A. in International Relations from Wheaton College (Massachusetts), an M.B.A. in Strategic Management and Analytics from Villanova University, and a CTB certification.
LEIGH GINION BAKER – VICE PRESIDENT OF SERVICE VALUE
As VP of Service Value, Leigh oversees the company’s largest accounts and has been instrumental in attracting, servicing and retaining Tucker’s account base. She spends her time managing a team of key account leads, liaising with customers, conducting in-depth business reviews, and problem-solving behind the scenes with the operations teams to make sure the clients’ experience is seamless. Through the years, Leigh has developed a unique skillset by holding a variety of roles within the company – from logistics services, to commercial sales and national accounts. Prior to Tucker, Leigh spent time in both the retail and recruiting fields. She is a graduate of Rutgers University; has an M.B.A from Villanova University in Strategic Management, is an active participant in a number of industry, freight security, healthcare, and transportation associations; and a board member for the Philadelphia Traffic Club.
Brandon Arnold – Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Brandon leads the team focused on driving company growth, cultivating strong customer relationships, and maintaining high standards in onboarding and customer satisfaction. With over 27 years of experience in the supply chain industry, Brandon specializes in truckload brokerage, special projects, domestic and international forwarding, and warehouse operations. He also focuses on Risk Management and Contract Negotiations. Brandon leads in both operations and sales, consistently delivering results and driving operational excellence. He actively serves on industry boards, including the Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA), where he is on the Executive Committee. He is also the past President of the Transportation and Logistics Council and currently serves as Conference Chairman. A Certified Transportation Broker (CTB), Brandon is a member of CSCMP and APICS. Brandon’s leadership and industry engagement demonstrate his dedication to advancing business development and excellence in the supply chain sector.
Nini Waring – Vice President of Technology
As VP of Technology, Nini leads the company’s technology strategy and innovation, ensuring that technological solutions align with business objectives while driving growth and efficiency. She is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of cutting-edge technology, ensuring robust security, privacy, and system scalability across the organization. Before joining Tucker, Nini served as the Vice President and North America Regional Information Security Officer at Chubb Insurance, where she was a founding member of Women in Tech. With over 15 years of experience as an engineer, architect, and technology consultant, Nini has built a career focused on bridging the gap between technology and innovation, all while ensuring secure, compliant, and forward-thinking solutions. Nini holds an MS in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Technology Management from Villanova University, as well as a BS in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University. Her leadership in technology not only drives Tucker's digital transformation but also enhances its commitment to providing high-quality, secure, and efficient freight solutions.
